The brief form
When you send me a brief, I collect what you write in the form: name, email, company, role, industry, the type of project, the goal, who it’s for, what you need, what you have today, your references, the planned budget, the timing and the language of the page. The form doesn’t upload files. If you send me material by replying to the confirmation email, it stays in my inbox.
Buying a prototype
To buy a prototype you enter your email, your company and a description of what you need. You pay on Stripe’s own page: you enter your card details there, they never pass through my website and I never see them. Your company and the description you write are saved with the order on Stripe. From Stripe I receive your name, email, the amount and the billing details it asks you for, which I need for the order and the invoice.
Browsing
The website uses no profiling cookies and no analytics or tracking tools, and its pages load nothing from other websites: fonts, images and videos come from my own domain. The only thing it saves in your browser is a technical flag (sessionStorage) so you don’t see the opening screen twice, and it’s gone when you close the tab. To stop repeated submissions, the IP address and email of whoever uses the forms stay in the server’s memory for a day at most and are not stored anywhere else. The hosting provider logs technical data about each request, such as the IP address and the page requested, to run and protect the website.
Why I use your data
To answer your brief and prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the consent you give by ticking the box); to complete a purchase and meet my tax obligations (contract and legal obligation); to keep the website secure (legitimate interest). I don’t use your data for advertising, and I never sell it or share it with anyone for their own use.
How long I keep it
I keep requests for as long as it takes to handle them and, if we work together, for as long as we do. Purchase and invoice records are kept for the period Italian tax law requires. Technical browsing data is kept for as long as the hosting provider keeps its logs.
Who processes it on my behalf
Three providers, each for its own part: Resend sends the form emails and the confirmations; Stripe handles the prototype payment, and follows its own privacy policy for card details; Vercel hosts the website. Some of them are based in the United States, and data is transferred with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, receive it in a portable format and withdraw your consent, by writing to m.caddeo@easytaskdesign.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
