Western CO and Energy Meta campaigns Solar advertising with AI

Ads, 2026

Spec ad · Made with AI

  • Open garage in the evening with a W-HES inverter and a W-Hi battery on the wall, house with panels on the roof; white headline asking, in Italian, if you have panels but pay for power in the evening, and a red button.
  • Modern house by day, blue sky and panels on the roof; open garage with a W-HES inverter and a W-Hi battery on the wall, no text.
  • Industrial building with panels on the roof at blue hour, lit shop floor and the XL Shell storage unit by the entrance; white and green headline saying, in Italian, that solar stops at sunset and the machines don’t, and a green button.
  • Industrial building with panels on the roof at sunset, a low orange sun and the XL Shell by the wall, long shadows across the yard, no text.

Two Meta campaigns for solar, written in customers’ words and built on the product photo.

Families with panels still pay for power in the evening, and businesses lose their solar at sunset while the machines keep running: both campaigns start from these problems. From the product photo on Western CO’s and Energy’s websites, with AI, I created lifestyle scenes with the product in use, four Meta ads for the funnel steps, a five-card carousel and a reel with voice and music, written in the words customers really use.

Solar advertising · Meta Ads · AI scenes · Carousel · Spec ad

(The sector’s ads)

The solar ads that work have a huge headline, the house at night and one number as proof: both campaigns start from there.

  • 590live ads for “inverter fotovoltaico” (solar inverter)
  • 950live ads for “sistema di accumulo” (battery storage)
  • 600live ads for “pannelli fotovoltaici” (solar panels)

Meta Ad Library, Italy, live ads on 27 October 2026.

The headlines use the words homeowners write in forums, so readers recognise themselves.

  • «i pannelli (the panels)»
  • «le batterie (the batteries)»
  • «la sera (in the evening)»
  • «una ditta della zona (a local firm)»
  • «chiavi in mano (turnkey)»
  • «sopralluogo, pratiche, allaccio (site visit, paperwork, grid connection)»

(Western CO)

The concept for Western CO’s W-HES speaks to two audiences, people who already have panels on the roof and the installers who fit them.

White W-HES inverter with W-Hi logo and black trapezoid display, shot head-on on a white background, as shown on the Western website.

White W-HES inverter and W-Hi battery on light grey; below, the name W-HES 3-6K, sizes from 3 to 6 kW and a red “Trova il rivenditore” (find a dealer) button.
Conversion · ready to buy

In the reel the same house goes from day to evening while the voice asks the question.

Vertical reel: house with panels by day, an animated bill dropping in, the switch to evening with the lights on and the W-HES inverter with its figures.

The first ad’s headline

BeforeIl tuo sole, anche di sera. (Your sun, in the evening too.)

AfterHai i pannelli, ma la sera paghi la corrente? (You have panels, so why pay for power in the evening?)

The question comes from forums, where homeowners write it just like that, and the evening photo makes it true.

I made one ad for each step, from people who have never seen the W-HES to people looking for a dealer.

  • White W-HES inverter on a plinth with red light, a giant W-HES lettering behind it and four figures at the bottom: >99%, IP65, 10 years, 2 MPPT.
    Consideration · comparing inverters
  • Light column with the black headline “Al posto del vecchio inverter.” (in place of the old inverter) and a line for installers; on the right the W-HES inverter on a dark ground with red light.
    B2B consideration · installers

Four scenes grew out of the photo on a white background, each made for someone buying the W-HES.

  • The same house at dusk, open lit garage with the inverter and W-Hi battery on the wall, wet driveway reflecting the light.
    Evening, in the garage
  • White W-HES inverter on a glossy graphite plinth, seen from below at three quarters on a dark ground with a red glow, no text.
In the studio, with red light
  • W-HES inverter and upright W-Hi battery side by side on warm grey, soft studio light and a reflection on the floor, no text.
    Beside the W-Hi battery

The carousel starts from a practical question: can the batteries come later?

  • W-HES inverter on a plinth with red light; white headline “Le batterie puoi metterle dopo.” (you can add the batteries later) with “dopo” in red, counter 1/5.
  • Lit garage in the evening with the inverter and W-Hi battery; white headline “Parti senza batterie.” (start without batteries) and the compatible W-Hi, Soluna and Pylontech batteries.
  • W-HES inverter on dark red; a giant red >99% efficiency figure and two MPPTs with inputs that take up to 100% overload.
  • The same house by day with the garage open; white headline “Alluminio, IP65, 10 anni di garanzia.” and the die-cast aluminium body.
  • W-HES inverter and W-Hi battery on light grey; black band with “Lo controlli dal telefono.” (you control it from your phone), the W-Cloud and my Leonardo apps and the button to western.it.

(Energy)

For Energy, I put the XL Shell next to a factory that keeps working after sunset.

Original render of the XL Shell battery cabinet, anthracite grey with a green frame and side cooling unit, on a white background.
The starting photo, the XL Shell render on white from Energy’s website (original render by Energy S.p.A., made without AI)
Render of the XL Shell on light grey; white band with the product name, a quote from an Intergrana customer and a green “Richiedi una consulenza” (book a consultation) button.
Conversion · ready to decide

In the reel the sun sets behind the plant and the panels’ output drops to zero.

Vertical reel: plant at sunset with the sun going down, a production gauge dropping to zero, a cut to the factory at night and the XL Shell cabinet with its figures.
Reel 9:16 · 12 seconds
The carousel’s first card

BeforeIl fotovoltaico ce l’hai già. Ora accumulalo. (You have solar. Now store it.)

AfterIl fotovoltaico ce l’hai già. Ti manca l’accumulo. (You have solar. What you lack is storage.)

An owner talks about what is missing, and “what you lack is storage” is a line they would say on the phone.

Each ad lands at a different moment of the decision, and the last one invites the owner to ask for a consultation.

  • Grey and green XL Shell storage cabinet on a dark podium with a green glow; XL SHELL lettering behind the product and four technical figures at the bottom.
Consideration · owners and energy managers
  • Technician with helmet and tablet at the XL Shell display under a solar canopy; on the left a light column with “Plug & play, anche su impianti esistenti.” (plug and play, on existing systems too) and a green button.
B2B consideration · installers and EPCs

The XL Shell stayed identical to Energy’s render, and I built five scenes around it.

  • The same building at blue hour, wet yard, lit shop floor and the XL Shell on its base by the wall.
    The business at blue hour
  • XL Shell at three quarters from below on a concrete podium, graphite ground with haze and a green glow behind the cabinet.
In the studio, with a green glow
  • Technician in blue overalls with helmet and gloves using the XL Shell display and a tablet, solar canopy and grey wall on either side.
    The technician commissioning it
  • XL Shell at three quarters on plain light grey, anthracite doors, green frame and the air conditioner on its side, studio light.
The card on a light ground

In five cards, the carousel shows what is inside the XL Shell and why it can stand outdoors.

  • XL Shell on black with a green glow; white and green headline “Il fotovoltaico ce l’hai già. Ti manca l’accumulo.” (you already have solar, what you lack is storage), counter 1/5.
  • Technician at the XL Shell display under the canopy, darkened photo; white headline “Tutto in un armadio.” (all in one cabinet) and copy on batteries, inverter and energy management.
  • XL Shell on dark green; the 220 kWh figure large in green and a line on the 120 kW of power and the second cabinet you can add.
  • Plant at blue hour with the XL Shell by the wall; white headline “Tagli i picchi.” (you cut the peaks) and copy on zeroCO2 Cloud.
  • Render of the XL Shell on light grey; dark band with “Fatto per stare fuori.” (made to stay outdoors), IP55, climate control and fire suppression, green button to energysynt.com.

(The process)

  1. 01I study the live ads
  2. 02I listen to how customers talk
  3. 03I read the brand from its website
  4. 04I map the funnel
  5. 05I create the scenes with AI
  6. 06I build the carousel and the reel

New project

With your real product, I can create any scene your audience needs to see.

The garage at night and the factory at blue hour are just two ideas, and with AI there is no limit to what I can imagine for your audience. If you tell me who you want to sell to and send me a photo of the product, I’ll show you the campaign I would build.
